Briefing Officer - Cabin Crew Operations
Job description / Role
1. Plan and allocate briefing rooms and ensure all aircraft documents are prepared for flights during the assigned shift.
2. Ensure all crew report for duty on time, check the validity and availability of all crew documents.
3. Advise Crewing when crew are late-replacement and take the necessary action for those crew without proper documents and complete Crew Incident Reports when crews are late for briefing, offloaded from a flight, or for any deviation from company regulations or standards.
4. Coordinate with crewing, check number of flights for the day and monitor availability of airport standby crew
5. Prepare all flight documentation as required and present to the SFS when they sign-in for duty.
6. Attend and monitor pre-flight briefings to ensure Cabin Crew is familiar with all changes to service procedures, company policy, ensure correct- fair allocation of crew positions and complete the briefing assessment form.
7. Monitor grooming and rectify any non-compliance to company standards. If instant remedial action is not possible, make the decision to offload crewmember, if necessary and direct crew to meet Grooming Supervisor.
8. Ensure on time performance is maintained and attend to any delays (base and outstation) and prepare reports regarding delay.
9. Coordinate with transport officers for the availability of shuttle buses to the airport, arrange transport for crew arriving from flights and monitor pick up- drop off crew to crew accommodations.
10. Ensure all crew must leave operations as soon as briefings is completed
11. Monitor availability of documents and report shortage to administration through the shift report.
12. Record all activities of your shift in the log book, complete all necessary shift administration i.e. action telexes, send telexes and update notice books, briefing sheets and HOTAC (Hotel Accommodation) file when required.
13. Conduct handover briefings to the next officer on duty.
14. Be a role model with a high level credibility and professionalism.
15. Any other job assign by MCLO.
16. Attend regular section meetings.
Requirements
Bachelor degree in a related discipline with 2 years of relevant experience OR Two years college Diploma in the related discipline with 4 years of relevant experienceOR Specialised certificate / license in the related filed preferably Cabin Crew License* Holder with Secondary School certificate and having 8 years of WY aviation experience of which 3 years as Senior Flight Supervisor.
