ACES Manager- Amazon Logistics
ACES Manager based in Egypt covering multiple delivery stations working as part of the Middle East Amazon Logistics ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence System) Team. Focused on Last Mile Operations.
We are looking for an ACES Manager for our Egypt AMZL ACES team
Role and Responsibilities:
- The ACES Manager focuses on the following deliverables
- Pivotal role in supporting and leading quality and cost improvement projects- to increase customer experience and improve efficiency of processes
- Replicate best practices and continuous improvement initiatives across the middle east, learning from the best as well as benchmarking under-performance, driving financial and productivity improvements
- Roll out of Standard Work practices for Egypt AMZL delivery stations
- Development of management practices, checklists and other execution best practices in-line with Standard Work objectives and deliverables
- Deep dives and targeted improvement activities for specific performance-related opportunities in Egypt Delivery Stations
- Establish focus and prioritization for our business efforts by coordinating, prioritizing and supporting Kaizen activities
- Drive leveraging of cross-building process excellence. Interface and maintain a close relationship with worldwide ACES colleagues
- Work with senior leaders to agree, prioritize, plan and coordinate implementation of projects. Follow up on all process improvement activities to drive quality improvements, cost reduction, and productivity improvements
- Data capture, analysis, pilot and deployment
- Partner with other teams to support multi-stakeholder initiatives acting as a point of contact for MENA Operations team
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years of relevant experience in operations or logistics driving improvements
- Bachelor's or a Master's Degree
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Comfortable analyzing data and making decisions based on this
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Advance experience using excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or related field
- Green/Black Belt Certification preferred
- Experience in last mile operations highly preferred
- Experience using SQL and Tableau
