The Role
Operations & Maintenance Performance Manager (Rail) – Qatar

Linum Consult’s client is major consultancy operating in the Middle East. Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking a Performance Manager specialising in the Operation & Maintenance of Rail projects to join their team in Qatar.

RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Developing standards and achieving targets for safety, operations, service reliability, and customer service
•    Developing strategies to ensure the Operations Team achieves world-class performance
•    Meeting KPIs according to targets agreed with the O&M Director in the areas of O&M documentation, delivery of study reports, preparations for launch of service, and monitoring of the Operator’s performances
•    Ensuring consistency between the performance of the Operators, the Subcontractors, and the Systems department
•    Building simulation models for the Performance Regimes currently in place
•    Complying with the company’s CMS Policies and Standard Operating Procedures
•    Assessing the Operator’s performances during the trial run and trial operation periods

Requirements
•    Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering
•    At least 10 years’ experience working in the rail industry, ideally within the areas of Performance, Controls, or Commercial Management
•    Strong technical knowledge of control centre operations, station operations, train operations, and depot operations
•    Demonstrable history of building simulation models
•    Excellent communication, decision-making, and analytical skills
