FAAS professionals provide advisory services to a wide range of clients covering a very broad spectrum of services including:

Our FAAS practice is one of the fastest growing areas of our business. As a result, we have a recruitment need for a Senior to join our team to support advisory projects ranging from internal control assessments, gap analysis and provision of recommendations for improvement to assisting clients in updating policies and procedures and other relevant management consulting services

This role will assist the supervisor in the planning and execution of consulting services delivered to clients. This will involve planning services to be offered, marketing of services to clients and non-clients, determining client needs, preparing proposals and delivering the work. The services offered are related to finance, accounting, internal controls, risk management, internal audit, organization capacity assessment and enhancement and other various consulting services.

You will be directly supervised by an experienced manager and will be assisted by a team with diversified experience. The company also provides all the resources and tools for him to excel and deliver the required work.

In this role, you will
•    Participate in the planning for and the strategy setting for the services to be offered, including training services
•    Participate in and/ or conduct meetings with clients to discuss needs and articulate scope of work
•    Prepare scope of work documents and proposals for clients
•    Read and interpret RFP’s and prepare proper responses (proposals, expression of interest, etc…)
•    Prepare the necessary paper work and complete all electronic documentation in compliance with EY policies and procedures
•    Prepare for each project (e.g. contract, plan, etc.)
•    Prepare for engagements through adequate research using available sources and tools
•    Provide insights from experience and from available tools to clients around subject matter and the industry
•    Prioritize, coordinate and allocate work assignments to staff, and resolve day-to-day staffing problems and issues
•    Conduct progress meetings with supervisor and other management team to discuss progress and status and identify issues, obstacles, and potential risks
•    Ensure all projects are implemented according to the required standards of quality
•    Follow up on billing and collection of fees with the client
Requirements
•    University degree in Business Administration, Accounting and finance, Masters (e.g. MBA, MSc in accounting or finance)
is a plus
•    Professional Certificates (CIA, CMA, CFM,) is desirable
•    Approximately 4 – 6 years of related experience
•    Experience in implementing consulting services related to organization development and related matters
•    Experience in conducting assessments of internal controls and risks in various functions (e.g. finance, operations, HR,
etc.) and providing recommendations for improvement
•    Experience in preparing policies and procedures manuals, organization structures, job descriptions
•    Knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS, IPSAS, etc.)
•    Proficiency in both Arabic and English language (speaking, reading, and writing)
•    Excellent research and analytical skills
•    Excellent computer skills
•    Enthusiastic and willing to read and learn quickly
•    Ability to work under pressure and multi tasks
