Senior Geophysicist / Geologist

The Role
•    Perform geophysical data collection, processing, and analysis for advanced classification methods and when necessary traditional digital geophysical mapping surveys
•    Confirms company geophysical projects are being conducted in a manner that assures technical completeness, accuracy and ingenuity, identifies and secures additional expertise when needed
•    Conduct site visits or fieldwork as required
•    Provide presentations as part of the technical project planning process, restoration advisory board or other public meetings
•    Responsible for the overall technical quality and efficiency of the geophysics practice area
•    Assist with environmental preservation and protection.
•    Develop methods and techniques for earthquake monitoring and prediction

Requirements
•    Degree in Geosciences or Geology, emphasizing courses in geological topics like structural geology or mineralogy is required and preference will be given to someone with Masters in Geology or Geophysics.
•    Minimum of 15 years’ experience in geophysics, geology and planning.
