The Role
Technical Superintendent - Fleet Vessel Maintenance - AHTS Tugs Barges

Our client Serves the offshore marine industry, they owns and operates a fleet of offshore support vessels including Ocean going tugs, AHTs as well as barges that support a wide range of clients across key markets in the offshore oil and gas industry, from drilling support to production and on and offshore construction.

You will be responsible for the overall management and technical operations of our fleet. This includes overseeing the daily operations of maintenance and repair, budgeting, survey schedules, onboard general assessment of vessels, inspections and docking.

Ensure the assigned vessels are technically operational or otherwise managed accordingly as directed by technical head. Liaise with customers on technical and operational matters including vessel performance, etc

Attend to vessel dry docking, repairs and survey when required and determine repair specifications for dry docking and maintenance, obtain repair quotations, oversee and manage repairs and compile documented reports upon completion of dry docking, including summaries of works performed, operational budgets, and actual expenditures.

Requirements
To apply for this position you MUST have Diploma in Marine or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Possess relevant seagoing work experience as Chief Engineer/Marine/ Electrical Engineer OR experience in AHTS, Offshore Supply/Offshore tugs.
