The Role
Guildhall are working with the EPC Contractor on a Billion USD Waste to Energy programme in Angola.
Once completed this will transform the capital city of Luanda.
Resource savings and recovery will be greatly expanded. Extensive power will be generated as a result (estimates suggest up to 30% of all renewable electricity generation). Plus the environmental impact on reducing landfills and trucking of waste long distances can be greatly reduced.
In line with this project our client are looking to hire a Lead Equipment Installation Engineer.
Preference will be given to those that have worked on European or American WtE projects.
Requirements
- Responsible for site equipment installation and commissioning
- Preferably degree educated
- Track record in Waste Power installation projects
- Excellent on-site management of safety awareness
- Demonstrable leadership qualities
- Comfortable working within a multi-cultural workforce
