Cleaning & Waste Management Section Head

Job Summary
Plans and manages the provision of regular cleaning, litter and waste collection, specialist and deep cleaning, in coordination with third party contractors.

Key Responsibilities
•    Monitors the quality of service provided from third party service providers
•    Maintains all venues and very clean and waste is managed perfectly
•    Establishes and maintains cleaning schedules and assign staff to areas for various cleaning duties.
•    Discusses general waste management procedures with venue managers of the assigned area; recommend and implement changes in procedures.
•    Maintains records and submit reports concerning personnel, equipment, supplies, expense, and other related activities.
•    Supervises waste management services including cleaning, mopping, scrubbing, sanitizing, etc., in stairways, hallways and playgrounds.
•    Ensures that common areas including conference rooms, lobby, waiting areas and audience places are clean and free of trash and debris.
•    Ensures wastebaskets and trash boxes are emptied and staff offices are cleaned daily.
•    Performs other tasks that may be occasionally required to meet the requirements of the role and the aims of AD SO LOC; including whatever capacity is needed during the Abu Dhabi Regional (March 2018) and World (March 2019) Games.

Requirements
Education and Skills
•    Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in Hospitality Management is needed.
•    Master in Hospitality is a plus

Languages
•    Fluency in English is required.
•    Fluency in Arabic is preferable.

Experiences
•    A minimum of 6 - 10 years of relevant experience in relevant in cleaning and waste management fields.
•    A minimum of 3+ years in similar role with exposure to major events is a plus.

•    Age: No preference
•    Candidates location: Local, we don’t onboard international candidates for the time being.
•    Working Pattern: 5 working days per week from 9:00 – 5:00 PM
•    Work location: Abu Dhabi , Sas Al Nakhl Near ADNOC Schools, Shamaha road.
•    We are open to screen all perfect CVs preferring immediate joiners
•    This is fixed term non-extendable contract, duration to be discussed, the event project ends May, 2019.
