Executive - Procurement

•    Coordinate procurement of all permanent materials and temporary work materials from reputable suppliers and subcontractors
•    Assist in purchase of materials, equipment, supplies of specialized or complex nature in accordance with prescribed purchasing regulations and procedures
•    Review and analyze purchase requisitions, investigate and develop sources of supplies , prepare bid specifications, issue bid requests and reviews quotations
•    Examine and analyze departmental purchase requisitions for completeness and accuracy of information; contact department or initiator to clarify or complete information; determine method to process requisition based on dirham amount, timeliness required, existing open contracts, and/or competitive bidding
•    Identify and select vendor procure requisitioned commodities, meeting criteria such as price, quantity, quality and delivery date and place orders
•    Interpret and communicate purchasing procedures to departments; assist departments in initiating requisitions and orders and solve problems with orders
•    Reports and estimation on costs and availability of materials, plant and equipment in order to increase the accuracy of tenders and project costing
•    Resolve purchasing problems between department and vendor.
Requirements
•    Graduate in Purchasing preferable
•    Knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures
•    Min 2 to 4 years’ experience in relevant field

•    Strong negotiating skills
•    Comprehensive understanding of MS Excel, MS Word and industry standard purchase order software platforms
•    Impeccable attention to detail
•    Ability to work well with the team
•    Able to thrive in a high-stress and fast paced environment
