Key Account Manager (Road & Transportation Safety)
We are working exclusively with a multinational and a billion-dollar client to find an outstanding and business-minded, techno-commercial, Arabic speaking Key Account Manager to be a direct link between the internal organization (product management, engineering, SCM, Marketing & Communication) and the key accounts (planners, authorities/ ministries, architects, contractors). He/she will cover both technical customer support and sales aspects (tendering , pricing, delivery agreements, etc) of Key Accounts and new partners.
Key responsibilities include:
? Establish and maintain the existing sales partners and customer base and establish a sustainable relationship. Responsibility for the key markets KSA, Oman, Qatar, UAE, Kuwait, Pakistan, Iran, Iraq.
? New customer acquisition - based on existing product portfolio
? Identify, evaluate and develop new markets (sales partner search, marketing and communication support and influencing national standards and specifications.
? Recognize trends, needs and solutions for multi-value product and service design.
? Ongoing SWOT analysis of the markets and derivation of recommendations for the Business Line management team
? Ongoing analysis of the market / segment-specific environment (development with customers, suppliers, competitors, economic development, political development, technological development, legal development, social development, ecological development) and derivation / interpretation of these developments on our product and service offer
? Ongoing stakeholder analysis to know the different requirements of the interest groups and to pro-actively manage them.
? Negotiation of tenders and contracts in collaboration with the Business Line Management Team to be mutual interests.
? Collaboration in the creation of marketing product concepts as triggers for new product developments
? Provides product training and technical support
KEY RESULTS AREAS (KRA)
1. Budgeting (revenue and profitability) through professional customer and project management and securing and expanding existing customer and market shares.
2. Increase market understanding and market intelligence through systematic and regular market customer and stakeholder analysis
3. Collaboration in the establishment and maintenance of a product pipeline for the next 3 years, for long-term securing of our position as a long-term partner in the markets.
4. Pro-active management of project risks (financial and technical).
5. Compliance with the Busines Line’s 'Code of Conduct’ and the Group’s guiding principles.
Requirements
JOB HOLDER REQUIREMENT:
• Bachelor’s Degree is highly desirable
• At least 3 years of experience in project sales
• Must be familiar with GCC market especially KSA, current relationship and contact with Government Ministries (Road Authority), Planners, Civil Contractors, and Architects is a great plus
• Arabic speaking is a must
• Great business acumen quality and has the ability to sell relatively high value product against competitor to potential and existing customers
