JOB OVERVIEW:
- Develop, as part of a team, Sustainable Lighting Strategy into next stages of implementation.
- Conduct special studies for the development of infrastructure works and projects including the PPP contract street lighting retrofit.
- Stay on top of the international lighting technical marketplace to ensure the Lighting Manual requirements and Lighting Handbook guidance deliver the best project designs for ongoing and future projects.
- Support and liaise with external stakeholders in lighting assistance for all future guides, standards, initiatives, workshops and projects.
- Communicate and coordinate the technical guidelines, specifications and standards for the infrastructure assets. Review submittals, i.e. guidelines, specifications and standards for the assets and systems related to infrastructure proposed by others.
- Aim to increase lighting quality aspects for internal areas as well as for the external sustainability initiative.
- Participate in major annual summits/conferences/workshops presentations and undertake internal workshops and one to one knowledge transfer sessions for lighting.
- Ensure compliance with correct lighting standards and lighting design needs and maintain a free marketplace for LED fixtures based on quality and performance on the projects.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.

Requirements
-    Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Lighting Design or Lighting Engineering.
-    Minimum ten years in lighting and electrical design focused on urban lighting projects.
-    Minimum five years of relevant work experience in GCC or Middle East region.
-    With significant experience in an engineering consulting firm.
-    Membership in a recognized professional lighting organization or body.
-    Proven experience in presenting projects and undertaking public presentation.
