Cisco Network Support Engineer Required

A UAE based company requires a professional, experienced and well versed Network Engineer to maintain and execute the current IT infrastructure.

In this position, the successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of all IT infrastructure and associated software within our offices and maintaining the organization’s computer systems and networks. You will be the main point of contact for clients and employees experiencing computer and network issues, so must be able to engage verbally and professionally with our clients. Must be able to quickly and proficiently install and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware and software faults and solve technical and applications problems, either over the phone or in person.

The current network consists of 3 branch offices within Dubai connected over Cisco IPSEC VPN. The offices are running Cisco WiFi Solution and Xerox network Printing and Access Control system.

The person should be CCIE and have hands-on extensive experience on Security, Switching and Wifi Solutions.

Requirements
•    CCIE Certification
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
•    3+ years’ experience in computer networks and systems maintenance
•    2+ years’ experience on current network operating systems
•    Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations
•    Understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience
•    Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality required
