Exciting opportunity to join a growing developer in Oman working on the construction and management of a luxury mixed use development. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the developer are operating within all legal requirements in all aspects of its operations and to provide legal advice to the management of the company.
This will include:
• Interpret and give advice on contract compliance and enforcement
• Draft and review all contracts at each transactional stage and evaluate to ensure legal compliance
• Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights
• Develop and manage database of all major contracts signed and provide regular assistance to the departments in executing, follow-up & closing of the contracts
• Prepare template MOU’s and agreements to ensure legal compliance
Requirements
• A degree /Masters in Law
• A minimum of 5 years in a Legal Counsel position
• Expertise within the real estate sector and hospitality projects
• Knowledge of Omani Law
• Strong in contracts/substantive laws and legal procedures
