Pricing
- Assess and price the WY fare structure to enable sales to achieve their commercial objective in a changing market place. To review ad-hoc fare requests based on flight loads, evaluate and launch market fares for new destinations outside the established WY network based on feedback from sales and special prorate agreements. To ensure that all pricing decisions optimise contribution to WY and are supported with robust analysis and are in line with the pricing framework and guidelines developed by Revenue Management as well as meeting legal requirements of the country.
- Guide Sales Team members on specific performance analysis on a O&D, route or regional or network levels and develop recommended actions for improved RASK performance. Lead implementation, monitoring and reporting of results.
Sales & Marketing
- Supports the local and senior management in the communication and planning of all marketing and sales activities, so as to drive revenue and grow loyalty of all Oman Air products from all local distribution channels and targeted audiences including online sales.
- Directly contribute to the delivery of the local Sales revenue target by assisting in the development and implementation of the marketing strategy that targets existing and new markets.
- Supporting the design and implementation an integral marketing strategy per class of service in the market segment for the local market. You will also ensure all marketing communications collateral and brand exposure are in line with Visual Style Guidelines as well as planning and implementing customer retention activities. You will plan and carry out all marketing campaigns whilst maintaining accurate records of budget expenditure on a monthly basis through to the carrying out of post-campaign evaluation reports.
- Carry out Market Research, competitor analysis and customer surveys and will also manage external marketing and PR agencies. You will need to effectively manage e-communications to all trade customer segments and manage internal and external events and exhibitions as well as attending out of hours events where needed.
- Execute developments and marketing activities on omanair.com country. You will maintain the position as key direct sales channel of the airline and drive qualified traffic to the website in order to increase conversion rate and achieve revenue targets.
Support and Assistance
- Provide timely product support in terms of pricing and marketing, and keep both the agents and the WY Sales staff informed on business progress.
Reports
- Prepare pricing report, product-service report, promotion report and other related reports on request for the Country Manager and Senior Management perusal.
- Prepare Monthly market report of airline comparative fares (other airline practices) for Head Office to compare and see where the company stands in the competition
Requirements
Fresh Bachelor degree OR College Diploma holder
OR Specialised certificate / license in the related field preferably in IATA basic ticketing course with Secondary School and having 04 years of WY / Aviation experience in similar function.
