Reporting to the Head of Research, you will be responsible in understanding the key client requirements and applying it to get research insights (user data, business visions, trends) and data for building strategies. You will also be responsible for auditing and reviewing sites and interfaces, keeping in mind usability best practices and standards, while following a UCD (user centric design) process throughout the project.
What you'll do:
• Assists with user research, including methods such as: usability studies, competitive analysis, focus groups, remote un-moderated usability testing, tree-testing, eye-tracking, user surveys, expert reviews, card sorting, cognitive walkthroughs and more.
• Creating and conducting testing phases and focus groups, including preparing test protocols, moderating sessions, analysis and preparing in-depth report to present to the clients.
• Contributing to benchmark analyses/competitor analysis with the metrics, analyzing user data to feed into client’s strategy.
• Co-analyse all research and feedback to gain user insight – and incorporate this feedback into the design thinking (wireframes, prototypes, etc.)
• Building initial strategy (Persona creation, user journey, IA, wireframes)
• Assist in stakeholder’s workshop - analyze existing systems and understand new needs of the business/audience.
• Audit digital interfaces with usability metrics and industry best practices.
• Pro-actively collaborates with project teams to guarantee timely inputs and contributions to the required work.
• Adheres to the project management framework and checklist during the process
• Clearly conveys the meaning of the work, showing critical thinking.
Requirements
About you:
• Passionate about research and learning new methodologies and skills
• Bachelor's Degree (ideally in related field - Graphic Design, Digital Design, research etc.)
• 1+ year experience working in an agency, within a UX led environment is a plus e.g. research, wireframing & prototyping
• Must be able to speak and write good quality English
• Proficient in Arabic language (Speaking and writing)
• Excellent research skills, with a UX mindset
• Experience with the following tools is a plus: Favro, Morae, Tobii.
