Description

Job Title: Consultant, Urology

Responsible To: Chairman, Urology

Basic Function: Responsible for the evaluation and management of patients in the field of urology.

Principal Duties:

-    Provides quality medical care to patients in the area of urology.
-    Provides consultative service as requested.
-    Participates in the department's educational activities and training programs.
-    Participates in research activities.
-    Performs administrative duties as assigned and other duties as needed.
-    Shares on-call schedule for Department of Urology as needed.
-    Participates in Department/Unit specific and Hospital wide quality improvement plan preferred.
-    Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.
-    Participates in self and other's education, training and development, as applicable.
-    Performs any other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education:

-    Graduation from an accredited medical school, completion of required period of postgraduate training in the specialty and sub specialty, with Arab or American Board Certification, Membership or Fellowship status in UK or Canada or their equivalent.

Experience & Other Qualifications:

-    The years of postgraduate training in specialty or sub specialty plus post training experience must be equal to or exceed 7 years.
