The Role
Executive Director position within the Government of Dubai.

Opportunity to advise the Government of legal and governance matters.

Client Details
Our client is within the Government sector of Dubai, and will offer an Executive Director a great opportunity to be exposed to the local authorities directly in the UAE.


Description
Assisting the client on the financial performance of the Legislation and Regulations function to ensure opportunities are capitalised on.
Review new legislation being brought in, and in turn update the laws and regulations internationally.
Liaise with external legal counsel and authorities.
Lobby on behalf of free zones, to ensure there are no implications post new regulations being brought in.

Requirements
- Masters degree in Law
- 5 years experience working for an Authority or within the Government sector in the UAE.
- 10 PQE, with at least 5 within a managerial position.
- Arabic and English to a professional level
- Extensive knowledge of local free zone laws, rules and regulations
- Experience in lobbying in Dubai courts
- Examples of managerial success
