Head Maintenance Manager
The Role
Charterhouse is working with a joint venture business who is looking to hire a Head Maintenance Manager responsible for 2 plants in Qatar. You will plan all maintenance activities and procedures including that of all electrical and mechanical equipment to achieve operational targets.
You will be responsible reviewing and evaluating all new projects and continuous improvement achievements. You will assist with the operational strategy by delivering input regarding maintenance and services as well as develop the business plan for the maintenance teams. You will also set up the planned maintenance schedules, modify them when required to achieve better results on reactive issues and update the CMMS with all changes to give clarity to the maintenance schedules. In addition, you will manage staff directly and indirectly from KPI's and reports and assist with the development of staff through training and motivation.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be Degree educated in a relevant engineering discipline with minimum 10 years experience in technical operational management roles. You should also have previously worked on a power plant or in the oil & gas industry for an owner/investor/developer company. In addition, you should have working knowledge of rotating equipment i.e. compressors, pumps & motors and understanding of preventative and reactive maintenance techniques.
