Head of Operations - HR Consultancy
The Role
Client is a well-known provider of HR professional development courses, is looking for someone to head-up operations in Dubai. The purpose of the role is to work with internal and external stakeholders to establish, maintain and enhance a sales driven and profitable regional division.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Business Development:
To make and take every opportunity to further and increase the business
Customer Focus:
To deliver the highest possible level of customer and client care
People Management:
To train, develop and counsel staff to ensure that each of them achieves their full potential
Compliance:
To ensure all policies and procedures are followed to ensure all matters are in accordance with legal and Oakwood standards
Requirements
Commercial Focus
- To deliver the sales and services within the sales plan, demonstrating commercial focus, a structured approach, intelligence and enthusiasm.
- To establish, in conjunction with other Directors, clear performance targets, both quantitative and qualitative, for all Dubai Staff and to support all activities that will convert and deliver these into operational excellence
- To monitor delivery of these targets and to take steps to address any inadequacy.
- To ensure that the performance of the Dubai office is efficient, effective and delivers within budget
- To target growth through extending current markets and developing new services and new markets
- To contribute to the development of company strategy through a thorough, current understanding of the local and national policy context, local competitive forces and local business opportunities, including potential new sources of business
Leadership:
- To provide professional leadership to all operational staff at all levels throughout the office.
- To ensure in conjunction with the MD that all Dubai Staff have credible and challenging Personal Development Plans and to oversee their delivery.
- To maintain and raise the profile and reputation by working closely with partners and networking with others
Personal and Managerial Responsibilities:
- To take personal responsibility for professional and personal development to ensure that ongoing and continuous competence is maintained in order to deliver requirements, including the fair and supportive management of all Staff in the Dubai office.
- To develop Key Performance indicators for Operational Services and to provide comprehensive monthly reports to the Chief Executive and Board.
- Oversee systems used within the office to ensure customer and Staff safety is compliant with governance requirements and health and safety legislation
