Accommodation Section Head



The Role
Division: Operations
Reports To: Hospitality Manager

Job Summary
Plans the provision of accommodation for the AD SO LOC program and manages the provision of accommodation services by third parties.

Key Responsibilities
•    Liaises with reception services to coordinate the allocation of accommodation
•    Liaises with other departments within Operations, e.g. catering or cleaning and waste management to meet all event participants expectations.
•    Searches the market for the best quotes can be provided to AD SO LOC, maintain records for all provided proposals and share results with Hospitality manager for decide on confirmed hotels.
•    Negotiates suppliers effectively and analyze business requirements to get the best quality and cost optimized decisions.
•    Performs other tasks that may be occasionally required to meet the requirements of the role and the aims of AD SO LOC; including whatever capacity is needed during the Abu Dhabi Regional (March 2018) and World (March 2019) Games.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in Hospitality Management is needed.

Languages
•    Fluency in English is required.
•    Fluency in Arabic is preferable.

Experiences
•    A minimum of 6 - 10 years of relevant experience in relevant accommodation managing and hospitality field.
•    A minimum of 3+ years in similar role with exposure to major events is a plus.

•    Nationality: No preference
•    Age: No preference
•    Candidates location: Local, we don’t onboard international candidates for the time being.
•    Working Pattern: 5 working days per week from 9:00 – 5:00 PM
•    Work location: Abu Dhabi , Sas Al Nakhl Near ADNOC Schools, Shamaha road.
•    We are open to screen all perfect CVs preferring immediate joiners
•    This is fixed term non-extendable contract, duration to be discussed, the event project ends May, 2019.
