You will support the business development team through the preparation of high-quality, innovative and competitive proposals in conformity with client's requests. The proposals are related mainly to water business lines, and could be related to O&M, IWP, privatisation of assets, etc. The Proposal Engineer will influence the overall business development strategy by being effective and efficient.

Description
* Preparation of Requests for Information and Pre-Qualification documents
Preparation of Proposals which includes:
* Pricing of the of projects
* Consulting specialist's subcontractors for other services and receive competitive quotations
* Writing up the proposal in compliance with the Company's standards and as per the Client's requirement
* Arranging site visit for subcontractors, and consequently negotiate and receive competitive quotes from them as required
* Suggesting cost saving methods and value added ideas to ensure a competitive bid
* Compile commercial pipeline information for the Middle East provided by the country managers on monthly basis.
* Ensure that communication between the team members and the clients/public is timely and professional.
* Assist with the implementation of customer audits to gain feedback on the level of service provided.
* Develop a clear understanding of the company's quality system and processes in relation to the role's area of operation.
* Assist with weekly workload planning schedules with the team supervisor which will include proactive tasks.

Requirements
* Bachelor degree in a relevant field
* Must have technical background (at least 5 years) and ideally water services experience
* Computer literate (very good knowledge in word and excel)
* Self-starter, organised, able to priorities and deliver results
