WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR INSTALLATION MANAGER TO JOIN THE THALES INTEGRATED SUPERVISION & COMMUNICATIONS TEAM IN DOHA, QATAR

The Installation Manager will be responsible of the management of an area of the site during the Installation phase of the Project. He is accountable for the entire installation performance in his area. He will be reporting to the Installation Director

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as the key interface with the customer and their engineers on site for the area he is in charge of.
- Organizes and leads daily and weekly installation meetings for his area with his supervisors and subcontractors.
- In charge of reporting any issue related to sub-contractor commitment and performance to the Subcontractor performance manager (SPM) as well as the Installation Director.
- Responds to various customer correspondences related to installation, in his area, with the support of the Installation Director or Delivery manager.
- Manages the planning and scheduling part of his installation activities by analyzing the progress and proposes recovery plan when necessary.
- Prepares regular status, progress reports and minutes of meeting for the Installation Director and the Delivery Manager, with the support of the PMO team.
- Reports problems and solutions and ensures these are processed correctly and communicated to the Installation Director, Delivery Manager and Systems Engineering Manager.
- Ensures the coordination and the communication with the other civil / systems contractors on site.
- Provides technical guidance for all installation activities done by the subcontractors.
- Ensures all installations are done based on latest site installation drawings, documents, and SW releases.
- Is able to trouble shoot any site conflict and design minor issues on site, and then report it to the engineering team and change manager for change tracking process.
- Ensures that "as-built" information is recorded as the work progresses and is submitted to Engineering for documentation updates.
- Performs PICO testing (if applicable), and assists in T&C activities as required.
- I s in charge of the entire customer approval process related to the installation in his area.
- M anages all aspects of safety on site, and is the Site Safety Representative for the area he is in charge of, in cooperation with the HSE Manager.
- Ensures that all employees (including the sub-contractor) comply with the Health and Safety requirements as detailed in the reference documents in the Project Management Plan, as well as all other applicable safety policies/work instructions.
- Ensure proper use of a Deployment Tool for Installation activities by his team and himself.

Requirements
Skills and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Telecommunications or other similar Engineering disciplines .
- 5 years of relevant working experience in Security/Transportation projects on installation activities from containment to final device installation.
- Deep experience in Communication and security systems.
- Engineering experience is appreciated
- A project experience in the GCC region is an asset.
